Крупный американский ритейлер Walmart сообщил, что продажи в третьем квартале превзошли прогнозы благодаря росту розничной и онлайн-торговли.

Онлайн-продажи выросли с 37% до 41%, тогда как прогноз компании равнялся 35%. Кроме того, корпорация увеличила годовой прогноз прибыли.

Скорректированная прибыль в пересчете на акцию выросла до $1,16, тогда как прогноз предполагал $1,09 за одну ценную бумагу.

Перед открытием вчерашних торгов на бирже Нью-Йорка, акции Walmart подорожали на 3%, до $125.33, обновив исторический рекорд стоимости. При этом торговый день закончился на отметке $120.65, что на 0,27% ниже предыдущего дня.
