Председатель британской инвестиционной компании Aberdeen Standard Investments Мартин Гилберт заявил, что вероятность «жесткого» Brexit, то есть без сделки, достаточно высока. На сегодняшний день она составляет порядка 60%.


Это связано со множеством факторов, среди которых решение об отставке премьер-министра Великобритании Терезы Мэй 7 июня, а также экономическая неопределенность в регионе, усилившаяся на фоне развития торгового конфликта между США и Китаем.


Преемником Терезы Мэй, по мнению М. Гилберта, станет кандидат, наиболее решительно поддерживающий выход Великобритании из состава Евросоюза.
