Американский производитель электрокаров Tesla опубликовал отчет за первый квартал 2019 года, согласно которому объем продаж автомобилей сократился почти на треть по сравнению с предыдущим периодом.

По итогам первого квартала Tesla поставила 63 тыс. электрокаров, что на 110% больше, чем в аналогичный период прошлого года, но на 31% меньше, чем в четвертом квартале. Это стало крупнейшим снижением продаж с момента основания компании и первым квартальным падением продаж за последние два года.

Представители Tesla объясняют резкое снижение показателей задержками в доставке машин Model 3 клиентам и пообещали исправить ситуацию до конца текущего года.

После публикации отчета стоимость акций компании снизилась почти на 10%, до $270 за одну ценную бумагу.
