Согласно данным Министерства труда США, число первичных заявок на пособие по безработице в стране неожиданно упало на 10 тыс. (в сравнении с пересмотренным показателем предыдущей недели) и составило 202 тысячи. Эти цифры стали минимальным показателем с 1969 года.

Прогнозы аналитиков предполагали, что количество заявок вырастет до 216 тысяч (с предыдущего показателя в 211 тысячу).

Количество американцев, получающих пособие по безработице на сегодняшний день, снизилось до 1,717 млн человек.
