Эксперты Fitch могут ухудшить суверенный рейтинг США

Международное рейтинговое агентство Fitch сообщило, что может понизить суверенный кредитный рейтинг США triple-A (AAA) из-за приостановки работы федеральных ведомств американской администрации.

Руководитель Fitch Джеймс Маккормак подчеркнул, что если работа федеральных ведомств не возобновится до 1 марта, то через несколько месяцев это создаст проблемы, связанные с потолком государственного долга.

С конца прошлого года ряд федеральных ведомств США приостановил работу из-за отсутствия финансирования. Республиканская и Демократическая партии не могут согласовать бюджет из-за разногласий по поводу строительства стены на границе с Мексикой.

Текущее положение ставит под сомнение оптимистичные прогнозы инвестиционных банков и правительства США относительно развития экономики страны в 2019 году. При этом последствия замедления экономического роста США негативно отразятся на всей мировой экономике, в том числе и российской, что вызовет дополнительное давление на курс национальной валюты.
