Немецкий автомобильный концерн Volkswagen Group увеличил объем поставок автомобилей до рекордных 10,74 млн в 2017 году, что на 4,3% больше по сравнению с 2016 годом. Только за декабрь прошлого года автопроизводитель поставил почти 1 млн автомобилей.
 
Председатель правления Маттиас Мюллер отметил, что компания сегодня, с одной стороны, инвестирует в транспортные средства будущего, а с другой – совершенствует имеющиеся технологии, что позволяет добиваться высоких финансовых показателей.

Объем поставок автомобилей в Европе составил 4,33 млн машин в 2017 году, что на 3,3% больше, чем за предыдущий период. В Северной Америке концерн увеличил поставки на 4%, до 976,4 тыс. автомобилей, а в Южной Америке показатель вырос на целых 23,7%, до 521,6 тыс. автомобилей. В Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе немецкий автопроизводитель поставил 4,5 млн автомобилей в 2017 году, что на 4,3% больше, чем годом ранее.
