«Рейтер»: По предварительным оценкам, размер ущерба от урагана «Харви» в США, подлежащего страховому возмещению, находится в пределах от $1,2 млрд до $2,3 млрд. 

Общая сумма убытков, по сообщениям агентства «Блумберг», может достичь $30 млрд.

На прошлой неделе ураган «Харви», силой 4 из 5 баллов, обрушился на побережье Мексиканского залива, вызвав серию наводнений. Сильно пострадал город Хьюстон в штате Техас. В некоторых частях города уровень осадков достигает 76 см и продолжает расти.

«Харви» стал самым мощным ураганом на территории Соединенных Штатов за последние 12 лет, когда приблизительно 80% площади Нового Орлеана оказалось затоплено водой в результате шторма «Катрина» в 2005 году.
