Народные промыслы России будут защищены товарным знаком

В целях борьбы с контрафактом Ассоциация участников рынка артиндустрии (АУРА) и Национальный союз народных художественных промыслов (НСХП) выступили с предложением защитить товарным знаком графические элементы, используемые в традиционном русском народном творчестве. Сейчас такие названия как «Хохлома», «Гжель» и «Жостово» зарегистрированы как наименование мест происхождения товаров. Однако использовать их могут все желающие, и это не способствует эффективной борьбе с растущим производством контрафактных изделий.  

Инициаторы предложения из АУРА и НСХП предлагают Минпромторгу зарегистрировать право на товарные знаки. Представители Минпромторга пока отказались от комментариев по поводу поступившего предложения.

Компаниям, планирующим использовать узнаваемые графические элементы в производстве сувениров и прочей продукции по народным мотивам, необходимо будет приобрести лицензию. Предполагаемый доход от роялти может составить 300-500 млн рублей в год.
