Превышение расходов бюджета США над доходами в 2017 году может вырасти на $99 млрд до $702 млрд, сообщили в Белом доме. Власти связывают это с падением налоговых поступлений, а также с неудачной политикой предыдущей президентской администрации.


Также в Белом доме отметили, что дефицит бюджета на финансовый 2018 год, который начнется с первого октября, тоже увеличится на $149 млрд до $589 млрд. По итогам прошлого года дефицит составил $585 млрд.


Напомним, в мае Дональд Трамп представил свой первый федеральный бюджет в котором обещал сбалансировать бюджет в течение десяти лет.
