Двое бывших сотрудников компании «Тесла» планируют построить в Швеции крупнейший в Европе завод по производству аккумуляторов.


Петер Карлссон, основатель компании Northvolt и экс-глава отдела организации поставок в «Тесла», совместно с Пауло Черрути планирует создать в Швеции завод по производству литиево-ионных аккумуляторов.  Запуск производства стоимостью $4 млрд и штатом сотрудников до 3 тыс. человек намечен на 2020 год.


Основатель компании заявляет, что не намерен конкурировать с «Тесла», его цель – выпустить продукт, который потеснит китайских, японских и южнокорейских производителей.
