Твиттер-аккаунт cnLedger разместил сообщение о начале проверки банком Китая и финансовой инспекцией Шанхая биржи криптовалюты BTC, что привело к резкому падению курса биткоина ниже отметки $810.


В сообщении говорится, что проверка работы биржи касается лицензирования, незаконного кредитования, использования иностранных валют в качестве платежного средства. Деятельность биржи проверят на причастность к отмыванию денег, манипулированию рынком и угрозе национальной безопасности.


Накануне НБК встретился с представителями крупнейших криптовалютных бирж страны BTCC, OKCoin и Huobi. В Китае биткоин не легализован и имеет статус виртуального товара. Регулятор посоветовал осторожнее инвестировать в криптовалюты, разумно оперируя рисками. Следующий шаг – проверка деятельности биржи BTC, приведшая к резкому падению курса биткоина.
