McDonald’s продает свой бизнес в Китае

Всемирно известная американская сеть ресторанов быстрого обслуживания McDonald's продает 80% своего бизнеса в Китае и Гонконге. Цена сделки составляет порядка 2.08 миллиардов долларов США. Покупателями являются инвестиционные фонды Citic Ltd и Carlyle Group LP. Первая компания, находящаяся под контролем правительства Китая, получит 52%-ную долю акций, вторая, американская частная компания – 28%. Себе «короли фастфуда» оставят лишь 20%. Инвестфондам будет предоставлена генеральная франшиза на дальнейшее развитие и расширение сети ресторанов быстрого питания в китайских регионах сроком на 20 лет. 

McDonald's сейчас вносит изменения в структуру своего бизнеса в ряде азиатских регионов, включая Китай и Южную Корею. В связи с этим и было принято решение о продаже большой части бизнеса. После заключения сделки команда управляющих подразделениями McDonald's в Гонконге и КНР останется прежней. Изменится только состав совета директоров. Отныне принимать участие в основных делах компании будут и представители Citic и Carlyle. 

В настоящее время в Китае функционируют около 2,4 тысяч ресторанов. Новые совладельцы McDonald's планируют открытие еще более тысячи ресторанов быстрого питания в стране.
