Шотландия будет недополучать £12,7 млрд ежегодно из-за Brexit

Первый министр Шотландии Никола Стерджен сообщила, что в результате «жесткого» сценария выхода Великобритании из состава Евросоюза бизнес-инвестиции в экономику Шотландии уменьшаться более чем на 10%, а к 2030 году страна будет недополучать порядка £12,7 млрд ежегодно.

По словам Стерджен, из разработанной аналитиками экономической модели следует, что наилучшим для Шотландии вариантом является остаться в составе Евросоюза, по крайней мере сохранить членство в составе единого рынка и таможенного союза.

По итогам референдума, 29 марта 2019 года Великобритания должна выйти из состава Евросоюза. Шотландия голосовала против выхода страны из объединения европейских государств.
