Джеффри Безос, основатель и глава крупнейшего американского интернет-ритейлера Amazon, продал примерно 1 млн акций компании за $1,1 млрд. При этом он сохранил во владении примерно 80 млн акций, что составляет 16,4% от общего числа. Акции Amazon в последнее время демонстрируют феноменальную динамику и пользуются хорошим спросом у инвесторов во всем мире.

Ранее в мае этого года Безос также продал 1 млн акций компании Amazon. Куда будут направлены вырученные средства, не сообщается, однако в последнее время  миллиардер активно инвестирует в свой космический проект Blue Origin. Американское издание Bloomberg сообщает, что Безос может направить деньги в газету The Washington Post, которой он владеет с 2013 года.
