Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline will be ready for operation in the coming days. At the moment, the highway operator is waiting for the decision of the German regulators. Novak also noted that commercial supplies depend on the decision of buyers to receive gas through this highway. The Minister added that the operator company Nord Stream 2 AG, together with European partners, has already carried out all the necessary work, including certification of the gas pipeline. Some countries, in particular Latvia, called Nord Stream 2 the only way out of the energy crisis, since the launch of the project could stabilize gas prices in Europe. To date, the gas pipeline itself has already been fully completed and work is underway to fill the pipe with the necessary amount of gas.
