Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao called for increased dialogue and joint work between China and the UK in the areas of sustainable development, digital technologies and green initiatives. Wang made the comments during a meeting with Jonathan Reynolds, the British Secretary of State for Business and Trade, in London on Monday. In his statement, the Minister stressed the importance of supporting the multilateral trading system by both countries. In addition, Wang assured that companies from the UK would be happy to continue their investments and business activities in China, which is seen as a step towards strengthening economic cooperation.
