According to PwC, drones are predicted to increase British economy by £42 million in 2030 since the airborne equipment is growing due to commercial activity. The estimate showed 76,000 can be seen in the UK skies in the next decade. The PwC further mentioned that the sectors under defense, education and health will contribute the major improvement to the output of wholesale and retail industry. PwC’s Director Elaine Whyte stated that the benefits of drone technology are not mainly for business purpose but it could help safeguard the society through emergency services. Furthermore, the accountancy giant projected 628,000 workers in the sector which could save worth £16 billion by productivity growth in 2030. In addition to it, economics director Jonathan Gillham believed that drones could bring a significant development towards the UK economy.
