На этой неделе Кристин Лагард покидает пост главы МВФ, чтобы стать президентом Европейского центрального банка. Лагард повторила то, что неоднократно говорил ее предшественник Марио Драги – правительствам стран ЕС необходимо рассмотреть вопрос о принятии собственных мер стимулирования, при этом она не упомянула о новых стимулирующих мерах со стороны ЕЦБ.

Между тем инвесторы ожидают, что сегодня Федеральная резервная система третий раз подряд в 2019 году снизит процентные ставки. Вероятность этого составляет 90%. ФРС использует упреждающее снижение ставок, чтобы исключить замедление американской экономики.

При этом не все чиновники ФРС являются приверженцами голубиной политики, так как она носят лишь превентивный характер. Большинство экономистов считает, что трех сокращений пока достаточно.

Кроме того, участники рынка продолжают верить в заключение торгового соглашения между США и Китаем, которое снимет большую часть неопределенности на мировых финансовых рынках.
