Число буровых в США сокращается из-за снижения цен на нефть

Американские нефтепроизводители четвертую неделю подряд сокращают число активных буровых установок на фоне снижения цен на нефть на мировых рынках.

По данным нефтесервисной компании Baker Hughes за прошлую неделю количество буровых сократилось до 776 штук, самого низкого показателя с февраля 2018 года. Год назад в США работала 861 буровая установка.

Энергетические компании вынуждены следовать планам по сокращению расходов на фоне падения котировок. На прошлой неделе стоимость североамериканской нефти марки WTI снизилась с $60,25 до $55,63 за баррель.

Количество буровых установок в США падает на протяжении последних пяти месяцев, поскольку независимые компании прекратили наращивать объемы добычи, сфокусировавшись на оптимизации расходов.
