Индекс доллара США, показывающий силу американской валюты против корзины основных мировых валют, упал до минимальных значений с 9 августа, после того как президент США Дональд Трамп раскритиковал монетарную политику повышения процентных ставок, которую осуществляет глава ФРС Джером Пауэлл.

По состоянию на 17:00 МСК индекс доллара США торгуется возле отметки 95,50, а в течение дня опускался до минимума в 95,44.

В ожидании возобновления торговых переговоров между Китаем и США на этой неделе возрастает аппетит к риску на валютном рынке – инвесторы надеются на ослабление торговых противоречий между странами.

В понедельник, 20 августа, Д. Трамп заявил, что недоволен текущей политикой повышения ставок, проводимой Дж. Пауэллом, а также что центробанк США должен осуществлять больше мер, направленных на дальнейшее стимулирование экономики страны.
