Акции британской компании Provident Financial Plc, специализирующейся на рискованном кредитовании, рухнули к рекордным минимумам после новостей об уходе исполнительного директора компании в отставку. Более того, Provident спрогнозировала убыток бизнеса в размере от £80 млн ($103 млн) до £120 млн и отказалась от выплаты промежуточных дивидендов. Выплата дивидендов за весь год также не рассматривается руководством компании в связи с резким ухудшением финансовых результатов.   

На этих новостях в ходе утренних торгов в Лондоне стоимость акций компании снизилась на 58% и составила £1,12 млрд. С начала года падение составило 73%. Согласно официальному заявлению представителя компании, новым главой кредитора станет Манжит Уолстенхолм.
