Аукцион состоялся 9 апреля, в прошлом году обед с миллиардером оценили в $3,456 млн. Условия встречи определяет Баффет. За обеденным столом можно обсуждать любые темы, кроме инвестиционных планов.

Знаменитые американский инвестор 18-й раз выставляет на аукцион право разделить с собой обед, деньги традиционно идут на помощь бездомным в Сан-Франциско. Всего в фонд Glide Foundation Баффет перечислил около $25 млн. Организация помогает бездомным и бедным людям едой, строительством жилья, медицинским обслуживанием, профессиональной подготовкой.

Уоррен Баффетт или «провидец из Омахи» – богатейший инвестор в мире, Forbes оценивает его состояние в $76,2 млрд.
