• The United States and Russia have agreed on safe navigation in the Black Sea. However, at Russia's request, the agreement will enter into force only after the Rosselkhoznadzor is connected to SWIFT and sanctions are lifted from it. It is also relevant to demand the lifting of sanctions from other banks related to international trade in food and fertilizers. There are other important conditions.

• The discount on Chinese cars in Russia reaches 1 million rubles. The reason for this was the overstocking of dealers' and importers' warehouses. Experts and market participants predict that the discount period will last until the middle of summer, before stocks sell out and demand rebounds. • Copper in the United States has reached an all-time high. Among the main drivers of growth is the consideration in prices of the introduction of high import tariffs on this important industrial metal, as well as reports of the suspension of supplies from the leading producer, Chile. May futures rose to $5,3720 per pound, surpassing the previous record of $5,1870 set on May 20, 2024.

• Canada and India want to restart relations amid the threat of US tariffs. The countries are taking steps to cool the escalation of diplomatic tensions and strengthen trade relations.
