Курс британского фунта стерлингов приступил к активному росту после новости об отставке премьер-министра Великобритании Лиз Трасс.

В четверг Трасс объявила об уходе с поста лидера Консервативной партии, что влечет за собой и ее отставку с должности премьера, на которой Трасс проработала всего 45 дней.

В результате курс пары GBP/USD резко вырос с уровня $1,1171 до отметки $1,1336. До появления слухов об уходе премьер-министра фунт торговался в небольшом минусе.

Основной британский фондовый индекс FTSE 100 также продемонстрировал умеренный рост – до отметки 6.957,60 пункта.

Доходность 10-летних государственных облигаций Великобритании опустилась на 2,1 базисного пункта, до 3,857%.
