В ходе торгов в пятницу, 29 сентября, индекс, показывающий силу доллара США к корзине основных мировых валют, вырос до отметки 94,92, максимума за последние 2 недели.

Ранее в среду американский Центробанк в третий раз с начала текущего года повысил ставки, чтобы сдержать рост инфляции в стране.

По итогам заседания глава ФРС Дж. Пауэлл заявил, что в дальнейшем намеревается продолжать политику увеличения ставок и добавил, что в ближайшие годы не стоит ожидать рецессии в американской экономике.

Чиновники Федрезерва полагают, что ВВП страны продолжит расти, безработица останется на низком уровне, а инфляция – в пределах заданного диапазона.
