On the last day of the year, futures on major US stock indexes are slightly declining, and investors refrain from active actions. In particular, the futures for the Dow Jones industrial index decreased by 0.18% to 36224 points, the futures for the NASDAQ index of high-tech companies – to 16397 points, the futures for the S&P 500 broad market index fell to 4763.5 points. Market participants in general prefer not to take risks on New Year's Eve, and as a result of such a lull, European stock exchanges are declining, oil is getting cheaper, and the foreign exchange market is almost completely calm. Analysts believe that next year the dynamics of exchanges will largely depend on the decisions of central banks, which are set to curtail emergency measures to support the economy. The year 2021 was the time when the global economy began to recover from the pandemic crisis of 2020. Next year, analysts expect growth to subside, as well as financial stimulus.
