Members of the financial industry are no longer expecting the Federal Reserve to push through with their previously cashed-in interest rate hike at the central bank’s two-day monetary policy meeting which will be concluding this coming Wednesday. However, investors will be looking for possible clues on a chance of another interest rate hike from the Fed this coming June during the central bank’s next policy meeting. The Fed is expected to implement two more benchmark interest rate hikes within the year, although the bank’s officials are not expected to detail a specific timetable for the said rate hikes.
