The Trump administration is now slowly but surely implementing Trump’s campaign proposal to clamp down a specific work visa program which enables several foreign skilled workers to the US technological industry, particularly the Silicon Valley. The Trump administration has since then implemented a total of three policy adjustments, which will make it harder for tech firms to bring foreign tech workers into the US via the H-1B work visa program. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services agency has already issued a memorandum with brand new policies in order to fight the prevalence of “fraud and abuse” in the said visa program.
