On the one hand, the quotes are under pressure after the resumption of negotiations between the United States and Iran on the nuclear agreement. Market participants fear that a potential revival of the Iranian nuclear deal could lead to more oil entering world markets. On the other hand, yesterday's industry data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) supported prices, pointing to an unexpected reduction in oil and fuel reserves in the United States, which offset concerns about a possible increase in supplies from Iran. According to API data, commercial oil reserves in the United States for the week to February 4 decreased by 2.025 million barrels, while an increase of 675 thousand barrels was expected. Later on Wednesday, the official statistics of the US Department of Energy will be published. If the official report of the ministry confirms the reduction of raw materials reserves, oil prices will start to rise again. However, analysts themselves predict an increase in reserves by 400 thousand barrels.
