Solana has become the most popular altcoin among cryptofund clients

According to a report from CoinShares, last week Solana (SOL) became the most popular altcoin among investors. 

Solana has overtaken all other cryptocurrencies, with the exception of bitcoin, in terms of the inflow of funds to the funds. From September 25 to September 29, investments in derivatives related to SOL increased by $5.1 million. 

At the same time, investments in bitcoin-related instruments for the same period amounted to $20.4 million. Funds associated with Ethereum (ETH) and several other digital assets, on the contrary, lost $1.5 million and $1.4 million, respectively. 

Amounts of capital inflow and outflow from cryptocurrency funds:

• The largest volume of investments in virtual currencies was made by German investors – $17.7 million.

• Canadian investors contributed $17.2 million.

• Americans, on the contrary, actively withdrew their funds from the funds, withdrawing $18.5 million. 

Since the beginning of 2023, the amount of investments in Solana-based funds has increased by $31 million, which makes this coin a leader among other altcoins. The high demand for SOL is probably due to the high probability of an increase in the value of this cryptocurrency. Artificial intelligence on the CoinCodex platform predicts that by the end of 2023, the value of the asset will grow by 72% and reach $39.73.
